Treating depression with exercise and meditation
Depression has become a major problem of modern times. Even many young boys and girls suffer from depression. Twenty years ago, this disease was not so common, at least in our country. There can be many reasons for depression such as problems in personal life, domestic situations or relationships etc. Apart from these, a significant reason is our lifestyle. On the one hand, due to our busy daily routine, finding time to exercise can seem difficult. On the other hand, out of the same twenty four hours we spend most of the day in useless use of mobile and social media.
Treating depression with exercise
Exercise and physical activity are as essential to good health as oxygen is to breathing. You will hardly find a person who exercises regularly and still suffers from depression. The reason for this is that due to exercise, our blood circulation works better and the blood reaches the whole body, due to which the physical functions are performed properly. Exercise reduces stress. For this purpose, walking, jogging, working out in the gym, doing push-ups, all have their own benefits.
Do whatever you can and as much as you can. Exercise should not be done only until marriage. This is what you need throughout life. Make it a part of your lifestyle.
Meditation is also very effective for treating depression
Meditation is also very effective in warding off depression. Today I will tell you the easiest and simplest form of meditation. In the morning, sit in a quiet place with your eyes closed and take deep breaths. Breathe in for four seconds, hold the breath for the next four seconds and slowly exhale for four seconds. And that's it. This task has to be repeated fifteen to twenty times.
By the way, the best time to do this practice is in the morning because at that time there is more fresh oxygen in the air and the person himself is refreshed after a whole night's rest. But apart from that you can do this meditation anytime anywhere. If you ever feel stressed or depressed throughout the day, take a moment to relax and practice breathing as described above. Inshallah you will feel better. This breathing method increases the amount of oxygen in the blood and reduces stress.
Believe on God
Apart from these two things, put your trust in Allah. Do your part in every matter of life sincerely and leave the result to Allah. Some things are beyond our control. They should be left to Allah, especially when the matter is beyond your control.
pray
May Allah protect every person from mental and physical diseases. Ameen
